Encrypted, Multi-site
Offsite Data Protection solution
More information on our Server Configuration and Protection
NOTE: For purposes of security and privacy for our clients,
the following information is intended to be vague and ambiguous.
Encrypted client data is replicated to multiple network facilities located in multiple cities. Servers are physically located in secure locations with all storage devices utilizing stringent dual logon credientials We don't stop there though, multiple firewall, antivirus and proxy vendors provide protection for an overlapping and thorough ring of server and data protection. And remember, data never leaves its 448-bit encrypted state. There is no master decryption key. Your data is safer than at your place of business.
Our facilities utilize the following components:
- APC UPS (uninterruptable power supplies) and line conditioners for those ever constant nasty power sags and outages.
- Professional Grade Network APC surge protection on all devices.
- Access to server rooms are at undisclosed, secured and monitored facilities.
- Backup power generators are onsite and available for extended power outages.
- Server clusters require two forms of logon authentication: 256-bit encrypted token key and 12+ unique system username and password required. The servers cannot be powered on without the encrypted token key. This is simply to logon to the servers. This has nothing to do with your data -- it is always encrypted.
- Multi-vendor firewall, antivirus, and proxy protection.
- All server-clusters utilize standard hardware components for quick swap out during failures. All data drives utilize RAID5+ data protection with hot swap protection and automatic failover backup drives ready to go at a moment's notice. We have designed the servers to use the same hardware for easy and pain-free swap out when a device fails.
- Your data is: Actually backed up. Secured. Protected. Available.
